Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Dummies

Wrote a review for

A central concept in CBT is that you feel the way you think. During CBT, you may develop the ability to treat your thoughts as theories and hunches about reality to be tested (what scientists call hypoteses), rather than as facts.

The book deals with CBT in a very simple way, but with very useful informative content. He describes how our interpretations and meanings that we give to events during life have the power to cause us distress, and that the thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs we nurture during life have a major effect on how we subjectively see the world. A very instructive and easy-to-read book. I would definitely read it again in the future.
