I stood in a bookshop in Rotterdam and one of the employees was on the phone with someone who wanted to order the mistborn trilogy boxset. That's how I found this book. She wholeheartedly recommended it, and I agree, it's a great fantasy novel!

Mooie verzameling verhalen! Mijn favoriete verhaal was Danny Coughlin's Bad Dream, met 140 pagina's niet echt een kort verhaal, maar daardoor was er ook meer ruimte voor een mooi verhaal en interessante karakters.

Spannend en vrij heftig af en toe. Ik heb wel wat stukjes snel gelezen omdat er naar mijn smaak iets te lang werd beschreven wat een personage allemaal dacht en deed en meemaakte in een soort innerlijke dialoog terwijl ik gewoon door wilde met het verhaal.

Lekker praktische gids voor het starten van je eenmanszaak. Veel focus op de financiën en administratie, niet zo gek gezien de expertise van de auteur, maar ook een businessplan schrijven en zaken als marketing en acquisitie komen aan bod. Geen van de onderwerpen worden echt heel diep behandeld maar het is prettig om 1 overzicht te hebben met zaken waar je om moet denken als je je eigen bedrijf wilt starten.

I picked this book up because I'm really looking forward to “make” again. What I took away mostly from this book is to not be scared to release stuff into the world to figure out if it has potential. And it doesn't need to be 100% perfect and polished to find that out, something that I often struggle with.
I'm currently documenting a couple of possible projects and who knows, ship a couple of them?

Good thriller, lots of interesting characters to keep the story going. The Dutch translation was not that great tough, lots of dialog and other text felt if they were translated too literally.

This is like the hunger games but then tripled in intensity, and with an interesting back story (giving enough to go on for the next two episodes in the trilogy) I think I'm going to read the next two books pretty soon.
