This book is just about as great as the first two and I'm loving it! The narration is top notch and the story continues to build up tension, making us wonder how Carl is going to get out of each scenario that comes up.
I don't know if it's just this particular dungeon they're in or if I would have benefited from reading instead of listening to the audiobook, but I sometimes had a hard time following along with some of the specifics of this book. The train lines were cool, but they sometimes were quite complicated and I couldn't always picture what was going on in my head. That may be the point though, so I only dinged the book by half a star. As always, I highly recommend giving it a go!

A pretty good book. I felt like things at the end got wrapped up really abruptly, but I still enjoyed the journey there. The book is short so it can't delve too deep into the issues of credit card debt, climate change, and other issues plaguing us today, but it was still interesting to think about a world with magical girls and how that could help save (or hurt) us.
