Asimov in another true gem. Short & direct. “Let there be Light”

“Pride in mankind restored”. Nicely done.

Lovecraft as usual driving people insane with the mundane mixed with the unmasking of the unknown.

A nicely created world full of intricate details. What I hated about these books is exactly the amount of details that are unrelated to the story + “He/she/they laughed merrily” + The SONGS!! This could've easily become LOTR the musical.

Forces you to think among the elaborate dialogues about the things that you take for granted. Most of its references are lost to me, but even the remaining ones are powerful and just amazing. Definitely worth a re-read in a couple of years.

Between the flowing words and lots of really beautiful analogies this book deserve its place among the legends. An emotional roller coaster taking you into the depth of your soul with this father/son journey.

Grinding through the 1st half of it, thoughts of just quitting it came too often, but suddenly it became of the most interesting reads. Too descriptive in most of its parts but everything is woven together to make a beautiful masterpiece. Unpredictable twists but “God's teeth” that was a long book.

Witty, Smarta** and funny. Very refreshing to read and enjoyable from the 1st to the last page. Focusing on a single character but never dull.

A strange story that I can't currently put into a category. But a nice read nonetheless, light and easy going. My 1st King novel and he is truly a master storyteller.

Not sure how much of it is true, but a gives a good view nonetheless. How some good decisions in addition to visionary luck could really create something as huge as Google.

PS: “Do you see yourself here is 5 years?”, “Definitely!”... Becomes Yahoo CEO in less than an year!

Every once in a while a book would come along that makes one regret giving previous books 5 stars. Definitely one of the best books I've read. Very hard to pin down into a single category.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. A comedy with a soul. Funny from the beginning to the end with lots of interesting thought food in between. Love the 97 advice chapter.

An Epic tale of epic proportions. My first tale of a world, so detailed it leaves you in awe.

A nice collection of very well written coherent articles. but the time of writing must be taken into consideration in order to fully appreciate this book. Some strange facts about omer ibn al56ab khelafa.

Mixed feeling about this one; to much repetitions of the same words (doubt the cause is limited vocabulary! ) but that felt strange. reads mostly like a movie rather than a book & maybe that is why it became one. Nonetheless these was something catchy about it.

Simply Amazing, too bad I was only able to find a translation (but still a very good one). The book is so good that the similarities with our real life hurt. Extreme at some parts but true for most. A masterpiece.

Really fluid and a captivating in its own way. Written a simple and direct way to convey a set of messages (which is the worst part; these messages are too direct and simple). But all and all, a very nice read.

The book that made me regret rating other books 5 stars! A true masterpiece.

Deserves more than 5 stars. Specially the 1st part of it; nicely written and easier to follow that the more dense 2nd part. A different view regarding religion and how it should be handled.

Excellent book but the ending was kinda meh. But the journey was definitely worth it.

Short & a nice attempt to answer the questions of what are we & what is God.

Short enough to finish in a day. Good points all around & delivers on its main premise; math & the various aspects of love.
