This was a fun book. The plot was unusual, but it included adventure and intrigue.

I didn't like how Caleb blamed Jessie when Becky got lost, especially after Jessie told him about how she felt responsible when her cousin got lost.

Anneka R. Walker's "An Unwitting Alliance" is a delightful and humorous Regency romance. Thanks to the meddling, well-intentioned "Matchmaking Mamas," Cassandra Vail and Tom Harwood find their carefully laid plans (and lack thereof) hilariously derailed. Through a series of charming misunderstandings, they end up unwillingly betrothed—to each other!

Walker excels at crafting witty banter and endearing characters. This sweet, clean romance is filled with charming mishaps and a satisfying slow-burn connection. If you love lighthearted historical romance with plenty of laughs, this is a wonderful read.

What a great book! It's so fun when a romance includes more than just main characters. The friendships between the Rebels added to the overall story. And the Matchmaking mamas using the guise of a "Music Club" was clever. There was a lot of mischief, compromising situations and some unexpected problems to overcome. I really enjoyed this book.

This was a fun and exciting book. There we a lot of twists and turns. Each time I was convinced I knew who everyone was some new twist would make me doubt myself. It has some elements of previous books in the series, but the author always makes it interesting and fun in a new way.
