I really loved this! The art is insane and Alan Moore makes comics relatable and interesting for someone that never had much desire to read them.

I decided to read this after having heard about it everywhere. It is more young adult than my usual tastes, but wanted to give it a shot. While it was an enjoyable read, I didn't connect with any of the characters and think I would have preferred to read the story from Luc's perspective. Overall, I'd say it was a predictable love story.

I really wanted more from this book. It had an interesting premise, but the story never really seemed to go anywhere. The characters weren't unlikeable, but there wasn't a whole lot of dimension and the themes were heavy handed.

This series continues to be great. The pacing is always on point and the story never slows down making these books a breeze to read. If you like books 1-3 you will absolutely enjoy this one.

Patti's writing always captivates me, and her ability to tell a story is unparalleled. A portion of this is a fictional tale as opposed to her usual non-fiction and I was blown away. Why doesn't she write more fiction!?

I good quick scifi read. I read this long after reading Annihilation and it immediately drew me back into the setting. Will definitely read book 3.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this in the first half. It was different than the other Murakami I have read, no supernatural twists, etc. Then something happened and it turned into a love story that really captured that feeling of wanting to spend every minute with someone. Murakami has a way of transporting the reader to a setting and really making you feel the emotions of the characters. This book covers grief, love, guilt, and sex in a way that feels tender and familiar.

A satisfying ending to an amazing fantasy series. Can't say enough good things about this series and Erikson's ability to weave a story. It was worth the commitment and my standards for fantasy have been greatly impacted.
