really valuable resource for learning about the history of Anglo-American colonisation. Although there are aspects that are shortened or simplified by having it be a graphic novel, I mostly think that it allowed me to dwell on the history and the people more, giving them more space per page, stopping readers from just processing these injustices as numbers.
I did think this would have more of the history pre-colonisation, so I was slightly disappointed by that. Also would like to read a book actually by an indigenous person!
