Excellent book, have now listened to it twice, nice mix of SciFi with a good splash of humour and sorrow thrown in. The narrator adds to the overall rating of five stars given.
Am listening to the audio book, and has been an enjoyable light scifi experience so far. Unfortunately something is starting to grate, it feels like every second sentence is finished with a, “Connor said”, “Deacon said” or some other character, “said”. It is jarring and annoying, I have had to stop listening, maybe it is not so obvious when reading the book, but has ruined the listening experience.
