Well worth the read, this memoir details angles of the AIDS movement that I had never heard about. The prose is clean and fast. The details feel honest and blunt. The story is both very sad and very hopeful. Definitely one for your LGBTQIA+ reading list.

Really great archive of albums, singles, and photos. A bit light on the story behind everything, but this makes for a great read and would be very handy to anyone trying to explore more deeply in the roots of ska, rocksteady, and reggae.

Decent contemporary interviews made all the more interesting thanks to a lot of photographs. A quick, short read, but worth the time.

Quick-reading comic memoir that speaks to some of the deeper benefits of rediscovering skateboarding. I love the art and the story. Wish it were a little longer. I hope Hamil continues to write comics. I'd love to see this turn into a series.

Some really excellent pieces in here, including remembrance of Anthony Bourdain, crazy pistachio/pomegranate shenanigans, and lots of great stories about what food means in so many different ways. I love the range of voices, styles, and subjects. I learned a lot!
