For now, I’m just not vibing with it having read the sample. I’m struggling to connect to the FMC during the first few chapters I read.

The series is really starting to pick up now and easily one of my favourites. The character development was amazing AND the plot was actually developing too!

I love the bond that's developed between Celaena and Rowan

The book was a nice addition to the show, to understand and get some insight to the characters mindset, but it lacked depth.

I enjoyed this book more than Saving 6. I loved seeing all the familiar characters again, and liked reading the events of B13 & K13 through Joey/Aofies POV. HOWEVER I think I'd have preferred for those to be shortened and focus more on what happened after the events of K13.

(not to be picky, but there were quite a few spelling mistakes throughout the book which I couldn't help but notice)

Second chance romances are either a hit or miss, and this was unfortunately a miss
