Wow—The Housemaid completely blew me away. The characters felt realistic, and the way the story unfolded left me in total shock more than once. The twists were jaw-dropping—I actually had to stop and think, what did I just read?!
Extremly fast and I wasn't able to put it down. I tore through it because every chapter pulled me deeper in. Honestly, I loved everything about this book.
This was my first read by Freida McFadden, and it set the bar so high. I'd recommend it to absolutely anyone who enjoys thrillers—or even to ones just starting their reading journey. It grips you right from the beginning and doesn't let go.
