শেয়াল দেবতার রহস্য is a decent Feluda story with an interesting setup — a mysterious idol and a series of strange events that draw Feluda, Topshe, and Jatayu into yet another case. The rural setting and cultural details give it a nice local flavor, and as always, Satyajit Ray’s writing is sharp and engaging.
However, the mystery felt a bit predictable and less gripping compared to some of Feluda’s stronger adventures. The suspense builds slowly, and the final reveal didn’t quite have that “wow” factor I usually expect.
I listened to the audiobook version, which was enjoyable — the narration added atmosphere and made the story come alive despite its slower pace.
Overall, I’d give it 3 stars — an average but enjoyable Feluda mystery.
