I absolutely loved this book. The fairy tale atmosphere and slow-burn romance were amazing, and I enjoyed not knowing where the story was headed. However, at times it felt a bit repetitive, which is why it didn't give me the 5-star feeling. Despite this, I can't recommend this enough.

4.5/5 stars

Even if this book had beautiful writing, the pacing felt off, and I was struggling to finish it. The story felt one-directional, and I didn't connect with the characters as much as I would have liked. If I read it at a different time, I might have rated it higher.

3.5/5 stars

I was expecting something else to be honest, more action and emotions, but the story, told from the point of view of a child, failed to keep me engaged. While it had potential, it didn't make me feel connected to the characters and ended up being quite forgetful.

Now I have to read some romantasy sigh, thank you Mister Sanderson.

My first introduction to Brandon Sanderson—absolutely AMAZING. Can't wait to devour his entire Cosmere universe.

I love these characters and their world, so I adored spending more time with them—but this felt a bit too fanfictiony for me.

Finally finished this. It was an amazing journey, though the ending didn't quite live up to the rest—too many loose ends. Still, it ended up being my favorite book of the year.

I fell asleep while reading this—and it's only 20 pages. That says it all.

Despite the slow pace, I felt compelled to keep reading to find out how this story ended. It was also a book club read, sparking a lot of thought-provoking discussions.

This book was packed with beautiful metaphors. I also loved Mosscap's return and its interactions with Sibling Dex.
