Another year, another ACOTAR book finished. Would I continue this series? Umm, this felt like a good ending to the story (mostly because this was part of the original trilogy) and, to be honest, I don't feel compelled to continue. Plus, I don't want to read more spice than in the previous books. But overall, this was a good book and a very entertaining audiobook.

Found a new favorite romance author, yay.
Even if it took me some time to get used to the writing style, once I got immersed in the story and connected with the friend group, I felt the grief they were experiencing. Despite expecting this to be a romance, I actually loved that it was not the main part of the story. Seeing the growth of the characters and understanding their motivations was very rewarding. I will surely read more of this author's backlog.

This was such a meaningful read that makes you see love with different eyes. I liked how it explored the complexity of love through the lenses of religion, friendship, and the love that finds you later in life. Knowing how the story would end made the journey that much more impactful. Although it was hard to make the distinction between what's real and what's fiction, and the pacing felt drawn out at times, the emotional depth of the story made up for it. Despite these minor drawbacks, everyone should read this book once in their lifetime.

This was a surprisingly nice read. I laughed, felt the characters' sorrow, and enjoyed experiencing the story through the lens of food. The vivid descriptions of recipes connected to the characters' emotions contributed to the immersive storytelling. I was also surprised by the magical realism and the depth it added. Finished it during a 24-hour readathon.

I thought this would be a 5-star read for sure, but it let me down. I was hoping for the same feeling I got from The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, but it didn't quite deliver. Still, it was a heartbreaking story, and I loved all the gaming references. It was also a fast read, and I underlined so many passages, haha. Finished it during a 24-hour readathon.
