I love this vibey existential reflection on life and that's precisely why I enjoyed the book. While acknowledging all the flaws and finding ending be underwhelming and a bit disappointing, I still think the book is a solid read if you also love those gloomy and philosophical moods. The genre I'd say closer to literary fiction excluding the ending which didn't make much sense for me.
Another part why I enjoyed the book it's cause I related to characters more than I'd like to admit
Good, simple yet interesting story that kept me hooked and I liked twists. It all truly gives off old noir movie vibe and I'm here for it

Exactly the feelings of unease I'm looking for and I liked the ending as well
The beginning was a bit slow though and after the first 40% of the book I had to check if it's actually a thriller
Liked it overall, now wanna check the movie
There wasn't enough unease that I'd expect from a psychological thriller. It was very slightly unnerving sometimes and towards the end but nowhere near what I'd call intense and disturbing. The story's still interesting (even though a tat predictable) I wanted to finish and know how it wraps
