The Darkness Dreaming is an engaging and imaginative read that will appeal to fans of fantasy and adventure. The author, Adele, creates a rich and vivid world with colorful characters and intriguing plot twists. The book has a good balance of action and humor, as well as some deeper themes of identity, destiny, and sacrifice. The writing style is smooth and captivating, with descriptive language and witty dialogue.

I enjoyed reading this book because it kept me hooked from start to finish. I liked how Adele blended elements of medieval history, mythology and folklore into her own original vision. I also liked how she developed the characters??? personalities and relationships throughout their journey.
The only drawback I found was that some parts of the book felt rushed or underdeveloped. For example, I would have liked to see more background information on Mandala???s history and culture; more details on how magic works in this world; more exploration of the Old World???s motives and plans; and more resolution for some of the subplots and side characters.

Overall, I think this book is an enjoyable and entertaining read that will leave you wanting more. I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy novels with strong characters, exciting adventures, and surprising twists. I just hope I don???t have to wait 27 years for volume 2.

All I can say is I could not put this book down.

I could not finish this book. I did not enjoy it

I really enjoyed this book. Brene Brown's thoughts on Shame and Vulnerability really resonated with me

The enjoyed this book enough to pick up the next one in the series. I thought it was a realistic portrayal of how a true college magician would act. I was a little disappointed that the main character was not more heroic but he probably acted the way I would.
