Coach Raveling's life story is fascinating. His ability to maintain focus and growth into his late 80s is inspiring. He's a perfect example of how to live a life of success while still putting others first.
One of the most moving books I've read in a while. Funny and heartbreaking. I see myself coming back to it many times.
PKD weaves an interesting tale with this one. The characters keep you engaged and you can't help but love, hate and be intrigued by them. 3.5 stars
An incredibly thoughtful, insightful look into the current state of tuberculosis and injustice in the world. This book would be moving and important in any time, but is especially so in these times.
