I feel biased as I love Stephen King books very much. His writing style is something I very much appreciate.
The book itself is a very nice book all the way. The beginning, which I have with every book of his, is a bit slower, but builds the foundations of the story very nicely, which gives you the feeling of more being in the story than reading it.
I would highly recommend this book!
It is a nice book, but I found the beginning difficult to keep concentration on the book. Halfway through it started getting more interesting. Also, the sudden use of dialect words makes it harder to read (give people the time to get used to the words). Also, the end suddenly is very jumpy in time. A lot of unanswered questions and in my opinion a very weird ending. I didn't check if there is any followup for this story, but if there is not, the ending could have been written better.
It feels more like “ah I still need to finish this” than that it feels like a good ending.
Overal not a bad book, read it in 5 days.
Very well written, and kept me turning pages all the way through!
The story is written well, and keeps the reader interested all the way through.
Lovely book!
Feels nice how the book drags you into the story and takes you on a journey with the main character.
I really love the ending as it also hides a good lesson for every one of us I think. A lesson we all know, but so often forget.
Although sometimes the sentence construction does not fit the kind of writing I like, I'm looking forward to reading more of Emily Henry.
