Fun and engaging - definitely recommend not listening to it though - many names sound similar and were harder for me to track.

Couldn't finish it. Not what genre I was in the mood for though I really liked the characters voices. And then the dog scene (trigger warning).

Even better than the first! Even though they still make odd decisions sometimes.

I was expecting something new. Not quite expecting something that short and abstract after “years of collaboration” in the blurb. Will need to read again.

Simple and clear war guidelines. Not sure why it became a business guide.

Makes you think

Couldn't finish it and dropped it quickly. Sister died due to a priest's lust and the main isa priest also with uncontrolled lust in the same novel. In alternating sections just to really ratchet up the ick factor.

Received this for a review. Stayed up late to finish the story. Satisfying conclusion and want to know more about the side characters and history.

Full of twists and great characters - more tense having read the original series and knowing where some tales end.

Read with daughter and light suspense with history thrown in.

I never read it when it came out and can see why it was popular. That incest section was skeezy and not needed. Even in the time in came out. Writing engaging and well done.

Flat and just didn't get enough to care about characters or stakes.

Judge Dee series always fun

I'd heard of the Future Library (real) and this was horrifying in all the ways government is horrible. Very unique and still uplifting.

Different and left me wanting to know more about the world and what happened next (right kind of anthology story)

Like most well done anthologies - familiar authors with stories adding to their worlds and found new ones to look up for longer works.
