obsessive. really interesting concept expected it to be more about the aftermath but wasn't really. love the way he writes.

Felt a bit... bland? was halfway through and expecting it to get dramatic but he just... cheats on her... build up to not much?? ending chapters were good/nice though

Thought it'd maybe be boring but it wasn't. loved Patrick. good description of people being terrible but still being human and good. sometimes got confused with dept of spec having just read it/similar topics

weirdly liked it a lot. reminds me of “little scratch” where it's more stream of thought vs plot line. good writing and good internal look at processing something through the mundane moments

Pretty decent. felt a bit slow at the start but didn't hate the characters like I thought I would.

love it... bit predictable but relatable and easy read and felt like a movie

felt a bit slow at the start. writing is different but fun. felt like I enjoyed the first book more but by the end I like both

love it. cried. emotional but in a good way. easy read but needed it... I want a Wyn...

very short. but really good.

Pretty good once I got invested in the story. 3rd part of the book felt irrelevant? like was flashback moments and nice but I wanted the last chapter to be longer. felt it ended upbruptly...... also felt like it wasn't really as much about the library and it seemed... liked more of his early adult years and elderly years but not the child years.... man called ove cross Thursday murder club readable vibe

interesting and a little bizarre??? feel like I liked it but also didn't?? good commentary on social media and cancel culture but also shows how basically everyone is a liar or a victim to SOMETHING. was invested but maybe not emotionally?

holy hell... very confronting and raw.. wasn't expecting the twist at the end with Turner... reminded me a little of the outsiders/pony boy in a good way

pretty good. was interesting enough/good story but only felt like I cared about the characters cause of sea of tranquility...

so weird and crazy like a pin board with red yarn meme but honestly really really good!!!! loved the connections and writing!!!!

poetic. interesting look at life but also felt very like... “high intellectual literature” that I feel like I didn't fully understand. might be a better read later in life when can share more of the same stories?

easy read decent story. interesting enough but didn't feel very “in depth” like it was just a glance at a segment of their lives. fine but not amazingly impactful

not an “answers” book more of a thinking book but definitely enjoyed - comforting and reassuring but also provoking

!!! so many things that I kinda “knew” but put into words that make sense!!! will definitely need to read again!!!

weird interesting... felt like a metaphor I didn't understand... good writing not really sure how I feel about the actual plot

loved it, a little slow start was good writing. cried very much

loved it. similar to mere christianity and the reason for God but easier to read and disgestable. helped put some own beliefs and questions I had into words.

a re-read from highschool but didn't remember anything about it. very good. like it more than I expected

interesting and quirky. a little bit sad and a little bit hopeful. the stories didn't really “stick with me” but u enjoyed them. something different.

feels like an ottessa moshfegh but not really?? kinda hated the main character, unreliable compulsive liar - but kind of pitied her?
