This was a cute continuation of the Ponto Beach series. It's technically a standalone but I think having the background of the other characters helped. I'm not a huge fan of second chance romance but I think this one was done well. Bonus points for exploring the adult/parent relationships on both sides.
This was hands down the steamiest Bridgerton book so far; the only one that matches the show. I liked the different setup for this story, compared to the rest, and the drastically different themes it played off of. I also didn't hate the male lead in this one, like I did all the other leads. Not quite worth the 5th star but is a solid historical romance.
Note: this book relies heavily on guilt so if you don't like that move along
