Grumpy/sunshine with a little bit of mid life crisis

Fake dating all day, everyday

Came for the slow burn, got emotionally wrecked by the plot. 10/10 will cry again.

This took me a bit to get into as the dual stories are seemingly unrelated at first. The concept of super fascinating, but the middle but seemed to drag. But I'm also a dummy and missed some big clues in the lead up to the twist at the end so it took me by more of a surprise than it should have

All that dark fantasy build-up for a cut scene???!!!! You've gotta be kidding me.
Wasn't a huge fan of the writing style either.

Very introductory look at the universe. The multiple “we'll talk about this more in chapter x” was really frustrating.

Ok I wasn't a huge fan of her writing style but fuck this was cute

A cute romp, but the ending was a bit abrupt

I really don't know why this particular style of romance works so well for me but this is definitely now a comfort fic. Not particularly spicy, but all the slow burn.

Ok this was really cute and the narrators were 10/10

It took me until about 20% to get into it, but I'm glad I kept with it. All the characters were interesting and I liked the writing style.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book

An interesting look at the back end of dating apps wrapped in a mystery with a dose of family drama.

I really liked this twist on what happens after the fairy tale. No character in this is perfect and I loved all the flaws. Got me out of the non-romance slump I've been in.

This is an average romance (I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could). Read in one evening and I'm not sure how fast I would have picked it back up if I didn't finish in one go. Loved the premise, but don't think I'll reread.

3.5 stars but rounding up because it was much better than I was expecting it to be. Pretty average romance based on what I usually read. The husbandry school is hilarious and I wish it existed in real life.

This book was not for me. I hated every minute of it. And like what the hell was the ending.

Great mix of steam and plot. The typical miscommunication at the end didn't bother me at all.

Read in honor of my high school 10 year reunion coming up this November. Unfortunately for me no Nerd Herd w/lingering sexual tension to fall back on.

Also burnout is no joke

If I wasn't group reading this I'd have binged it in one sitting. The oblivious-ness is chef's kiss.

Loosely murder mystery mostly smutty romance. I think it's my favorite Tessa Bailey so far.

Definitely the best of this series so far. Can't say much about how the characters' personalities relate to the gods. The premise was great and I'm a sucker for a close proximity romance. The multiple POVs were very well done. And of course a HEA.
