I recived a ARC copy for review.
I could not identify with the characters well which is of course very subjective. I would love to see more diversity in books like this and not the overwhelmingly white american cis woman sapphic romances.
I liked how the living in the small town was described.
I disliked how the breakup was handled. Riley thinking: “And I apologized, but…I guess I didn’t do it right. If I had, she wouldn’t have kicked me out. You know?” Feels to me as she would be owned forgiveness. Then she is not really working on her problems and Hannah is taking her back before she even knows why Riley lied. It is the first time but I would rather not had an Happy end instead of this reunion arc.
