Too slow burn for me.

This was amazing but it just was a little too long in certain parts but I still ate it up.

This is probably one of the more predicable of her novels, but still a quick read.

This book had me very intrigued and I quite enjoyed the twist.

I kind of wish this book wasn't a sequel. I just think that the ending should have happened earlier in the book and I felt like the characters personalities changed between books 1 and 2.

My favorite book of Freida's by far. Reminded me of Misery at some points, but I really enjoyed the twists.

This was such a good anti-hero story. I almost forgot I wasn't supposed to root for a serial killer.

I enjoyed this one except for the will-they wont-they aspect. Otherwise it was lovely ending to a fantasy series.

I wish that this one had focused just on one case instead of 2. I really loved the first book and this second one was kind of a let down.

McFadden please never stop writing. I eat your stories right up, as unrealistic as the plot may be.

Short and to the point like this review.

This was not quite as good as the first book, but it was still enjoyable. McFadden is great at writing thrillers that keep my attention and keep me wondering exactly where they will go.

Enjoyable and just as good as the first book, however I do wish the POVs were at times a little more spread out.

Another fun mystery with Ruby and Cordelia.

This is better than We Were Liars.

What a cute contemporary. I might have actually liked this more than Love and Gelato, or at least equally as much.

Very intriguing. McFadden's writing style had me turning the pages for more and more. I did feel like this was a generic plot, but the easy, breezy writing style made it better than books I've read with this premise.

I thought I saw where this was going but it was more unpredictable than I thought it was going to be.

I enjoy this cast of characters more each book. I actually only knocked it a star just because I don't really like when my cozy mysteries end with cliffhangers, it seemed all the other books didn't do this so it was a little jarring to me.

How am I just now discovering this book?

This was so fluffy and romantic, but also way more than the romance. I loved it.

Rating: 3 stars

Enjoyable and a bit less believable than the last.

This was not as good as the first book and I wish we had focused more on her job again and somehow related that with family but this just felt very disconnected from the first book.

Wow, wow, wow. I haven't been taken into a world like this in some time and let me tell you I loved it all. The characters, the plot, and the setting.

Rating: 3.5

Overall enjoyable read, but tended to get stuck in the same loop over and over, but still action packed enough to keep me invested.
