Definitely on the grosser side for King, but enjoyable none the less. Great character descriptions... I definitely wanted to throttle Jim Renney.

I adore this novel. It has it all: romance plot, intrigue, murder, mystery, time travel, ominous and mysterious figures, romanticization of the past, excellent character descriptions and growth. Definitely one of my favorite books of all time.

Great science fiction novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love the engineer fodder. Great descriptions, and a heartwarming story of human tenacity.

Almost too wholesome for me but Haig does a good job of not being too much. I really enjoyed this novel.
