Rarely does a novel make me so fully contemplate my own reality and especially my own mortality. The realistic depiction and gradual unveiling of the effects of early onset Alzheimer's truly hit me hard. I would definitely recommend this book, but–at least in my experience–you are going to want tissues.
Almost too wholesome for me but Haig does a good job of not being too much. I really enjoyed this novel.
I adore this novel. It has it all: romance plot, intrigue, murder, mystery, time travel, ominous and mysterious figures, romanticization of the past, excellent character descriptions and growth. Definitely one of my favorite books of all time.
Excellent memoir, and short. Gave me a lot to think about regarding my personal philosophy and the concept of “perfect moments”
