A little slow to get going but high quality nonetheless. Looking forward to continuing in this series!

Love the variety of women's bodies and personalities portrayed in this series. Also love the sense of humor and the use of language - I'm a swearing gal myself, so it's always fun to find characters that have a creative library of invective.

Selkies and werewolves and interdimensional portals and pirate ships! What more could I ask for?

As much as my cat allergy means this particular Lumberjanes adventure would have me sneezing and crying the whole time, it nevertheless was yet another adventure I would have happily joined! Love the Lumberjanes being welcoming to everyone who wishes to join, too.

This is a charming collection of character studies. Tom Hanks really CAN do anything.

Well... that escalated quickly.

This was a reread and rediscovery, in that I read this the first time so long ago that my memory of it was hazy at best. I'm glad I refreshed my memory. I'll be rereading the rest this year as well, though I don't think I'll blow through the whole series at once.

The story itself was interesting, and I appreciate this as a fan of vampire literature in general. But I didn't like Robert Neville, and when someone is the only person in a vast majority of a book, that becomes a problem.

This was short and really funny. I feel like it would have been even better as an audiobook, because it feels so conversational. Really had a good time reading it.

The Terror is a well-written and suspenseful book, worth the time it takes to read it. I enjoyed it, though found certain plot points to be a bit much, and the ending a little underwhelming.

That said, it's still worth picking up! It definitely made a few days' commute pass easier.
