This book was absolutely magnificent, I genuinely can’t even comprehend what just happened. I loved every single second of it and I already want to reread it. In my opinion, it is the best book in the series so far.
As always, the plot twists were incredible, every single one of them. I loved that we got a heist and were introduced to new characters. Zoe and Elijah were amazing additions! The found family aspect continues to be one of my favorite parts. Even without Bree’s memories, it still felt so strong and honestly I think I would have been okay even if she never got them back.
I also really loved that at the beginning we got so many different points of view. Natashia’s chapters were definitely a highlight for me. And I have to say I love that each book gets more queer. I was so happy that we finally found out Bree is not straight.
In the first book I really did not like Bree and Nick together, but here they have both grown so much and now I actually think they work really well. That said, Larc and Will are still my favorites, they are just so adorable.
And those last two plot twists really shocked me. Sel being the son of the Shadow King and Bree choosing her memories instead of her best friend, I was not prepared for that.
Overall I absolutely love this series and I cannot wait for the next book ✨
