The Fever Code

This is the best of all the Maze Runner books. It's so infuriating but so good. I cried a bunch of times and I was so mad through all of it. I still can't believe they had to do the purge like, ughhhh. And I didn't think there would be any plot twists cause its a prequel, but the epilogue!?!?!?!? It killed me and now I don't know what to do with my life, everything was a lie.

The Kill Order

This world is so interesting to be in, fucked up but the kind of fucked up you can't put down. Though this one is less fucked up than the others. I loved the new characters and I got attached to all of them, even though I knew their fate from the start. Loved Alex, he was my favourite. And the ending (before the epilogue) was the sweetest.

Love in Focus

It was a really quick read, which I liked. The first half of the book I was having a little fun but I didn't like most of it. They didn't have chemistry, the sex scenes were non-existent and very awkward, and I don't know, sometimes they were acting like straight men. I was really excited for this book and it really disappointed me. I wanted to annotate it and I gave up on page 2. The writing style was also one of the bigger problems, there was just telling and no showing. In my opinion we wouldn't even need the Celeste chapters.

That was a really sweet and steamy book. Looooveed it. I especially loved that even if the characters were a little toxic because of their own problems, they really grew through the book and you can see that in the end they were actually good for each other.

It was better than the first book. The relationships got better and the characters have grown a bit. I loved the new couple, finally an awesome one, and I really like Adler. And the plot twist at the end I didn't expect so I'm excited for the new book.

I am not sure how I feel about it. I love the world, but some of the characters really annoy me. I adore Pila she is my favourite, but Yeeran, Lettle and Furi are toxic. The idea of the world is so interesting and I had fun reading it, but the relationship between Furi and Yeeran left a sour taste in my mouth.
