Dark (yes I was warned) and not really a gripping story for me at least. Only made it about a third through before stopping though.

Talking dragons. Enough said.

This was mostly good, just not entirely my type of fantasy. It engaged me through the book but didn’t make me want to jump to read more.

Also I was very sad the otak died 😭

I liked this!! It actually helped me learn a little about science while being entertaining and not feeling like a textbook

I’m usually into space stuff but this one didn’t hit for me for some reason, and wasn’t really drawing me in from the start so it’s a DNF for me

it’s a pretty good but but id only say okay. The beginning was a really good build up and I always love a good alien + human becoming friends story, but it kinda went too quickly for me? But this was my first novella so maybe I’m just not a novella person.

This was amazing. So inspiring. An amazing woman doing awesome stuff in a time where is was even worse to be a woman than it is now 😭 very inspiring and full of laughs with a few almost tears

This was awesome. It made me think way harder about stuff (in a good way) and it was fascinating to learn things like why air conditioning was invented! I also had no idea the impact barbed wire would make. Wild!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I’m not even a huge gamer but it was fascinating to read about the rise and fall of Sega from a business and marketing perspective.

some of the language around food can be a little triggering if anyone has eating disorders, but overall I think she does a pretty decent job at highlighting health benefits and making sure to clarify there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself and doing thing even if they’re deemed “unhealthy”.

And overall has some really great advice and really inspired me to do a better job of taking care of my body, and small things I can do rather than big sweeping changes.

This is an amazing book, but I am biased because I wrote it! But it's literally combines a decade of my experience using Trello to help others find best ways to use Trello for productivity and collaboration. Even includes some fun Trello puns and humor!

not a bad book just got very repetitive. I quit about halfway through when I didn’t feel like I was getting anything new from it

I honestly just had trouble keeping track of the characters. I did like the story though

I absolutely loved this. For a biography it was a real page turner. You just kept reading and wanting to know what was going to happen next! It was also interesting just seeing what was “normal” for women from the 30s-60s in the US. Sad. But made me happy to learn about progress they fought for and seeing women be strong in the midst of that and push for growth.

this was beautiful. I don’t even generally like to read fiction books and I couldn’t put this one down. Found myself reading for hours at a time, super into the story and wondering what was going to happen next. Also made me think about some things, so that’s always a plus.

good tips about how we got here and what we can do to help our phones not control us. Probably could be a blog post, so if you get a good summary you’ll walk away with action items but read it if you want to dig deeper into it and see some studies behind it all.

Good read if you’re in a startup or in the middle of a project and wondering if it’s supposed to be this hard. In some cases yes and in some… no! Good advice and honestly just relatable and encouraging.

Still kinda wrestling with how I feel about all of this and what I agree with and don't agree with, but it was super thought provoking and very well written.
