It feels wrong to give this book a rating because it is something so personal. This is probably the best advice I've ever received and I'll (surely) pick this book again, because this is a piece of writing you keep discovering new things about every time you reread it.

I don't even have words to describe how good this was, I love coming of age stories and this one hit so close to home that while listening to a bit of bullshit from my parents today I just kept thinking “just do what Mary Jane would do. lie and do whatever you want.” LOL

It's been a long time since I cried while reading a book and the ending was just perfect because it ended on a good note and I really needed that for Mary Jane. I didn't expect to get so attached to all of the characters. ❤️❤️

I didn't know I had such high expectations for this book until I found the whole story to be very “meh”.

It was cute overall, it was so nice to read everything again and watch them growing and maturing. Love them all so much.

Janie has been haunting my dreams ever since I first read the perfect child but tbh, this short story did not help the fear because I found out the only thing I fear more than child psychopaths is adult psychopaths

When I say I never b i n g e d a book so fast in my entire life I'm not kidding.

I'm so happy I waited to read this book around Christmas time and I can see this becoming a comfort book to read around the holidays. I loved the main characters (I loved all the characters tbh) and I wasn't that upset with the third act conflict (it wasn't that bad and it was definitely worth it ❤️). I'm so excited to continue the series.

This book doesn't deserve anything less than a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just loved the “no plot, just vibes” vibes and just couldn't stop devouring this cozy story. This quickly became my bedtime book and I'll definitely search for more books like this one.

It was a really cute graphic novel, kinda out of season but it was still enjoyable. Moth was such a good character with her little rebellious attitude towards her mom, a teenager being a teenager.

I definitely did not see that ending coming but I'm glad I waited a few months to read this sequel because I feel I would've gotten bored with the characters. I didn't even know a new one was out and now I'm glad I have a new story with Millie to read in the future!
