Narrator has a harsh voice, really irritating!

Too much shallow dialogue. All kinds of weird created words and abbreviations.

2061 (really??) The plot was good, but the execution was not.

Dexter and Finlay Donovan mashup! Perfection!

A sweet retelling of O. Henry’s The Gift of the Magi. (audiobook)

”Agatha Christie meets Black Mirror”

The Kindle version is edited. The audiobook contains more appropriate language (i.e. offensive words).

If you've been missing “Desperate Housewives”... ;) This will definitely scratch that itch! A cul-de-sac reminiscent of Wisteria Lane.

Might have worked as a short story. TRIGGER WARNING

My rating could be influenced by the narrator; I found her voice boring for this type of book.

Not my favorite Clare Mackintosh. Pretty slow until the last 15%. Some twists, some triggers. Political: climate change

This one was special, overarching the entire series, bringing up little bits and pieces and people from over the years; even the first case involving meeting Jean Guy.

I enjoyed this! Is it based on Wake Forest? (I was accepted but didn't attend ;) Other than the arrest scene, I had no logic issues. I do enjoy dark academia!

Also: the audiobook is better than than the ebook (no experience with the physical book). The audio version contains more words.

I liked the earlier books in the series better, but this one was fun because several characters from another series were included.

This pregnancy seems never ending! How many murders before delivery?

*The author's notes added a star. Good book, but I loved the notes.

I really liked the first book. Love this cover. Hate feeling like I am being dragged along in a series that should have ended.

I loved this! Highly recommend!
