Probably my favourite of the three books.

I had never heard of this author, and never heard of this book until I was perusing Goodreads and found the best Sci-Fi of the 20th century and this book was in the top 20 (or there around). I would highly recommend this to any fan of Sci-Fi.

This was really interesting, but took me way too long to read, and such I would forget details and people when they would inevitably be brought back in to the plot in some way or another. It made the book a little more confusing and hard to follow, but otherwise I very much enjoyed this new world. Will definitely be checking out the sequels.

I wanted to love this, but it's basically just fanfic. A mashup of his favourite sci-fi adventures like Ender's Game and Battlestar Galactica (among many others).

Even without reading the synopsis, it's painfully obvious the video game Zack and friends are playing is either real or training (Ender's Game much?) and at no point did I think his father wasn't still alive (and obviously RedJive).

The multitude of 80s pop culture references were appropriate in RPO, but felt forced in this one. This was mostly just a disappointment.

Pretty OK.

An enjoyable YA novel.

Maybe not as good as the previous books in the series, but takes the series in yet another entirely different direction. Will be interesting to read about the fallout from the events of Nemesis Games in the next book.

A fun ride through a new universe, with great characters and a very intriguing premise.

Highly recommend to any geek.

A refreshing take on sci-fi, no aliens, no “hyperdrive” or “warp-speed”, but a novel that's exciting and based on real science. Loved it.

Loved it. Can't wait to continue reading the series.

This book is just still so amazing to me, 17 years after first reading it in grade 8.

In short, this was a great addition to the Ender universe.

Enjoyed it. Continues to read like lengthy episodes of the TV show, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Wasn't as good as the first two books but had some good moments. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Really enjoyed this book. The pace was great, the characters were great. Can't wait to read more Jack Reacher.

A fun read, especially as a Castle fan. It felt like I knew the characters before even starting it.

For what amounts to my first foray into Mystery, this was pretty good. I always need to start any type of series from the beginning and this was a pretty good place to start. Alex Cross and I have a lot of catching up to do.

Great finale, if a little sad. Was nice to read a series about vampires where vampires are actually the “Scary monster” we all know them to be.

This was quirky sci-fi at its best. I loved it. The only problem I had was trying to explain the book to someone else.

This book didn't grab me the way the first two did. I found myself reading it mostly just to finish it.

Loved it. Also, for anyone unsure about reading the book or seeing the movie first, I highly suggest seeing the movie first. Not because it's not as good (which is a general rule for movie adaptations) but because I was truly on the edge of my seat, and I don't think it would have been that way if I'd read the book first.

While the content of the book was engaging enough, I found the actual dialogue to be childish in places. If Dan Brown wrote this book with the expectation that it would be made into a movie, I think the screenwriter's gonna have a hard time getting Tom Hanks to say “Did you hear? Peter's alive!”.

The only reason this gets a 4 from me is because I'd read most of the stories before in his other work. Still great to read them again. Thoroughly enjoyed his Criminal Minds production diary.

It may have been a little rough around the edges but the foundations are there for some great fiction from Wheaton in the future.
