This is one of the best fantasy books from this decade. Awesome build up for the series. In a world full of ‘gritty fantasy' Sanderson continues to show that you don't have to kill half the characters to make a compelling story.
Very good dystopian view, reasonable love story. The relationship is plausible and feels real, no Shakespeare ideal crap here, just two people with insecurities and trying to get by.
Read it on one night, nothing too big. Has all the markings of a book designed to be an online game lore, like the party being constituted by a character from each race in the game. Even so, it's a good read and very funny and well written.
This book is perfect. There's no single page you read that you don't end with a real ‘I didn't know that' feeling or at least a little piece of new information.
