I was curious about it so I checked it out.
It is very fear monger-y with a lot of half baked anecdotes. It is an important piece but we are all still alive like 60 years later and science has progressed far enough for there to be better sources on pesticides

The myth was bigger than the woman and felt strangely hollow and meandering for the first 70% and then it started to come together
The plot was kinda loose but it still has bones and now the world is developed.
I think there is supposed to be three books and I think they could be pretty solid
