I read it all in one day after watching The New show on starz.
IT was interesting, just wished she had more of a voice and some more drama.

Listened to 70% audio, and read the last 30%.

Quincy drove me crazy, she wasnt a very likable killer.
The ending was very good. I liked it all came together.

I love the banter between Stroker and Veronica.

I loved the banter, the chemistry, and the healing. Some tropes include second chance romance, friends to lovers, and childhood friends.

I loved this quote and seen in the book on page 380. SWOON. “I missed out on a chance to make you mine before, but I don't plan on making the same mistake again. We're the real deal, sweetheart, and I'm done letting you believe anything else.”

I loved it, the slowest slow burn but I was here for it. Grump meets sassy sunshine. ⭐️⭐️

The Wall of Winnipeg, was such an interesting phrase and unique. I really loved this book. My favorite Mariana Zapata book thus far ❤️
