My Review:
Well, first off - as I said above, if you enjoy historical fiction, then you will enjoy this book. The characters of Thomas and Sir John really bring the history to life and allow you to enjoy the history in a way that will resonate with more readers. It was broken down into easy to read sections, and there was no place in the book that I ever felt lost. The way this history flowed off the page, made me feel as though I was there, guiding and delighting readers with each page. The writer was able to tackle this book with confidence, which was refreshing! I didn't feel as though he was fumbling with the information.
I enjoyed the human nature that was put into this book - the descriptions of the battle craze that was going on, and the frustrations felt by both armies. It was one of those books that drew you in, and ran you through some emotions as well. I found myself angered a few times (but you will have to read for yourself to find out why), and sadness for many of those who lost their lives that day.
If you are looking for a fabulous historical fiction read, then you have to grab this one! Medieval history has never read so well!
This is always a fascinating subject to read on, and this book did not disappoint! Fabulous and well-written! I highly recommend this one to anyone who is interested in history!
I was not sure what to think when I started this book, but I was quickly drawn in, and found that I didn't want to put it down! I finished it in one day! Grab this for the history lover in your life now.
Rosalind Anderson has undertaken a piece of history, that is so often overlooked, and given it a breath of fresh air. Scottish history of any type can be difficult to write. Thankfully, the Jacobite Rebellion has been well documented.
The role of the Murray family was profound, and the many different nuances that they underwent. I was fully drawn into this book, as the details given flowed perfectly throughout.
In many books, it is easy to get lost, especially when there are so many names and places to remember. While this book is full of each, I didn't find myself losing where I was, or who was who.
Well worth the read!
Who was Alexander the Great? Go beyond the myth, the legends, and the folklore to gain an insight into the man himself, and the life that he lived.
This book was amazingly written! It was very detailed, going through his entire life, and wrapping up with his death. While we may never know what killed Alexander the Great for sure, the author makes an educated guess, with the information that was/is available.

I read through the stories in Alien Encounter, and while some were interesting, there just was not enough to hold my interest. I felt as though the author was stretching, sometimes trying to figure out as he was writing, the best way to move the story forward.
Interesting read, but not one of my favorites!
This book was fun, but, on the same token - I honestly felt that it lacked something. It didn't grab me and keep me. I walked away from this one several times before finally completing it, and each time I felt as though there was just something flat about the entire book. It had some brutal honesty inside, but I felt as though there was a lot of fluff as well.
I know that no one reads the same book twice, and I hope that those who do read this book love it!
My Review of Ronaldo and The Phantom Carrot Snatcher
Ronaldo is working very hard to become one of the best fliers out there, and working hard to break the record. But when carrots start to disappear, he sets out to solve the mystery. What he finds is a lost wolf cub, one of the enemies of the Reindeer. But there is something about this young cub that is different. Ronaldo befriends the young cub, and they work together to find her family, all while he still tries to break the record, and prepare for the big day.
My Thoughts
This was a super cute read, and very enjoyable! I really enjoyed reading it! This is perfect for kids, especially as it deals with friendship, and making friends with those that are not the same as you! I look forward to letting my children read this, and I know they are going to enjoy it as much as I have.

As she sets off on a journey to find her real father, after her mother tells her the truth, she sets out on an adventure she never thought possible. She makes new friends and discovers more about herself, and her father in the process.
I enjoyed this book. It was a fun read! Great for a quick afternoon read, or lazy Saturday afternoon!
Dreama longs for life outside of the castle, but she is not fully aware of the dangers that lurk outside the walls. As she befriends a young village boy, she convinces him to help her sneak out and away from the castle so that she can visit the spot where he picked some flowers for her.
However, she is about to discover that not everyone is kind, and what she took as punishment was, in actuality, for her own protection.
This was a cute little story! I enjoyed reading it immensely!

My Synopsis
Phillip is a good kid. He is always the one to tell the truth, help out before he is asked, and always does his homework on time. He is also the target of the week of the school bully. As he is doing his best to hide from Sam, something seems off. As he heads home, he finds a kitten stuck in a tree, and after helping the cat, he realizes the cat spoke to him. Phillip goes in search of the cat, wanting to know if he was hearing things, or if the cat really spoke.
On the way to find the cat though, Phillip is attacked by Sam again, and while attempting to get away is struck by a car. He doesn't find himself in Heaven, however, but in Hell. At first, there seems to be a mix-up. He should not be there, but after some back and forth, it seems he was expected, but not for the reason he first thought.
Lucifer is sick, and he needs someone to take over. Phillip was brought to be that person. But again, it was a mistake. It was Sam they were after, not Phillip. But now, there is nothing to be done, but to teach Phillip what he needs to know to take over for Lucifer when the times comes. However, since Phillip is so good, he struggles with the lessons in being evil, until something happens to turn his thoughts another way...
My Thoughts
Oh my goodness, I really enjoyed this book! It was such a fun read and held my attention the entire way through. I found myself laughing at Phillip, trying so hard to be bad, but instead sowing some good deeds and kindness along the way. The Devil's Apprentice has fully developed characters that you can relate to, and find yourself thinking back to when you were in school and some of the shenanigans that went on there. While Phillip has to learn to navigate through hell, he is also trying to solve a mystery and figure out who is trying to kill Lucifer.
This one of those books that needs to be read, and was a lot of fun. You are going to meet an entire cast of characters, some of whom will capture your heart, and the others you are just waiting for something bad to happen to them...

I will admit, when I first started this book, I felt it dragged in the beginning so I set it down.
