actually bummed i'm finished with it!
- my biggest fear in life is my child dying so this hit hard right off the bat... didn't help santiago was my kids age.
- the time jump between lena and josephs pov was jarring at first
- would read M POV forever

I didn't particularly like this but I ATE it up like I could not stop listening wth

was slogging through this the first half or so (PDA

definitely did not click for me! not sure if it was the format but i was just... not interested in any of it.

3.5
Cute! Breezed through this. Dev kinda pissed me off sometimes.

Charlie my beloved

3.5-ish
There was a lot of repetitiveness within the writing - she'd say one thing and reword it to say the same thing in the next breath? Kind of jarring when you're listening to it

Started off interesting but Part 3 kind of lost me

Last line was very sweet!

sadie kept some wildly toxic relationships in her life, huh.

super unsettling! gotta rewatch the film now

listened to the audiobook which was really well performed so it bumped it up a star. was very twisty and lost me for a bit at the end but it was entertaining.

that ending was pretty abrupt but obviously it was the correct choice. would have very much hated this otherwise!
the age difference gave me the ick so I'm glad they are slightly aging Hayes up in the film adaptation

The ending was lovely.
Elizabeth was sooooo annoying, and I swear this isn't said negatively but Brie Larson playing her in the upcoming series makes perfect sense.

My daughter bought this for me at her schools book fair because she knows I like Captain America
