Living the dream

Cathbad stan forever.

Reading instead of sleeping probably wasn't a smart choice, but I just couldn't put it down.

Callanach got less annoying as I went on.

Incredible. Gave me a million feels. So so real.

not my favourite of her books.

Thanks for the recommendation, Stephen King!!

was gonna be 4 stars until the last few pages...

I mean eh, it was definitely readable but I CAN'T GET OVER THE BIT WHERE SHE TAKES A PROZAC IN THE MORNING (for the first time in months) AND THEN PUTS ONE UNDER HER TONGUE TO ‘HELP WITH ANXIETY'. FLUOXETINE DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY FRIEND.

Actually finished on 21st Dec.

Hovering around a 3.5 but decided to round it up to 4.

Some bits were fantastic, others were slow and dry.
Largely enjoyed it though.

Some cliche elements but found myself enjoying it despite that.

SPOILERS:

The ‘twist' at the end wasn't very surprising. GRRM has shown me that unless it's explicitly shown/stated that someone's dead (and even sometimes despite that) - they're not necessarily dead!

One of the weirdest books I have ever read in my life, and I have read some weird shit. Couldn't put it down. Was a little scared I would have a nightmare about clowns :P

I can really relate to Magrat.

Really a 3.5 but I'll round up to a 4 because I like her.

I loved the idea of it and I really couldn't wait to read it... unfortunately I found it a bit lacking. Not a bad book, by any means, but I also won't be rushing out to recommend it to anyone.

mentioned in mothers reckoning. want to read for popsugar 2017
