The information was good, but -1 star for some sections being pretty cis-centric.

This was so freakin' adorable!!!!!

I think I just wasn't in the right mood/headspace to be reading this book at the time, but the writing style REALLY did not do it for me.

Disclaimer: I would not actually put this on par with other books I have given 5 stars, or even 4, at least on a literary level. But, oh man! So much fluff, so much angst...all of the feels! :) It's been a while since I've been so involved in a story that I sat down and devoured an entire book over the course of a couple hours.

So, for those of you who have heard me go on ad nauseum about place-based literature, setting as character, place (and the same events) inspiring different stories from different characters' perspectives...this is it! This book is a perfect example of all of this. I also loved how the characters constantly got me to question and challenge my reading (dare I say assumptions?) of who they were as people and what they could contribute to the overall narrative. Basically, you really should read this book!
