Emily St. John Mandel crafts an apocalypse that's eerie and yet so captivating by showing us the weaknesses and strengths of humanity and our civilization. Loved the Traveling Symphony, the characters and their connections that kept me hooked through those many timelines and locations. I wish there where some more chapters.
Also, reading Station Eleven in a post-COVID world hits way too hard, but despite some minor flaws (e. g. the prophet was underused) the book was so gripping. Just don't expect a classic sci-fi end of world story.
I am definitely gonna read her other books.
