I teared up several times. A very powerful difficult story. One that as an American I've never heard before, but should be more widely read and understood.

My least favorite of the one shots. I don't think there was enough there to warrant the story.

Powerful sad story about a young man searching for his father who may have died on 9/11.

Very cute if predictable. The parents were a little over-the-top.

Another enjoyable one shot. As with the others, I wish it was a full length book and more fleshed out (pun intended). Second book in a row that made the joke “thyme is money”.

Excellent beautiful little book on consumerism. “A scarf can do so much, but I can only do so much”

These one shots are cute. But for the most part, they always leave me wanting more. Still it's well drawn and they use the characters well

Some fun and creative pairings. I think the best one might've been Wile E coyote. I liked that there were the two versions of every story. One in comic style and darker town and one in Looney Tunes style. Enjoyable.

Took me a little while to get into the story, but once I was in thought it was really good. I definitely think it plays better for people who are native to Hawaii and understand the culture more. But this was both an interesting peak in and a good story about mothers and daughters.

I didn't get this at all. I really am left with so many questions. The drawing was good. I don't really have much else to say.

Beautifully rendered, but I'll be honest. I start to zone out a little bit when there's no words at all. Reminded me of The Mysteries.

Very easy fun read (until the much discussed scene at the end of course). I can see why this is the series Netflix chose to adapt. There's a lot of great banter. I hated Antony in season 1 of the show but I can see he's written that way. I enjoyed the family dynamics in this one more than the couple.

Perfect fall read (warm and halloweeny in the best way). Can be read in 30 min but you kinda want to live in it forever.

Pretty riveting. Very much the page Turner.

Excellent. Two love stories for the price of one and expertly written. I loved both couples. This is only my first Lisa Kleypas, but I will be devouring all she's written.

I'm really getting into the story now. Feels like it's moving at a good clip.

3.5 *

Imagine my surprise at picking this up because it looked like a cute romance to read over the holidays and the main character's a porn star. I really liked the set up and the main couple. It was unexpected but fun. Truthfully I like the first half better than the second, but I'm still looking forward to the next in the series.

Some good forward movement in the story. The confrontation with Apollo was well written and infuriating as it needed to be.

I finally feel like the story might be getting somewhere. Plus, I read the book this time rather than scrolling through the WEBTOON. Flipping through the book was more enjoyable.

One of those books I'm glad I read it via audiobook, read directly by the author. Very personal very real and well told.

Honestly, I skimmed more than read. This could have been such a fun read, but it was so dry. I skipped through and read ones from movies I love. But right off the bat, the chapter on Halloween was so boring! Really disappointed.

Good Sherlock Holmes-ish story. Beautiful artwork. I would happily read another in this series.

The best of the one shots, but I still have issues with it.

I really liked the conceit of this, 3 1/2 stars. I would love to see it flushed out in a full length graphic novel.

Excellent book. Read it cover to cover and am strongly considering buying it (I borrowed from the library). Like having an interior decorator in a book, and I could see it being endlessly referenced. Actually felt motivated at one point to put the book down and take a break to garden/get rid of some broken pots I hadn't dealt with.
