The Immeasurable Depth of You

Grabbed it because of the pretty cover, expecting some fun for me as a Florida native, but it turned out so much different, in a good way. The main character feels so real, to the point that there are parts I hate her for somewhat cringe references. for writing a teenage character though, it works perfectly. the relationships also felt so genuine. plus the scenery and description of swimming around in a swamp is SO fun. I'd complain about all the moments I got second hand embarrassment, or just felt like the scene was completely ridiculous, but I think that's what makes a book a good one.

was unexpected but would absolutely recommend it.
