The last 50 pages felt like I was reading a totally different book and main character had serious brain surgery. 

the fact that the MMC kept acting dumb and wouldn't talk at the beginning annoyed me a lot. the book was so slow and gave way too many information at the beginning. it's almost like the author was trying so hard to be funny.
