FINALLY READ IN IN JUNE AFTER PLANNING IT EVERY YEAR EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT 😭 very cute and I really enjoyed the plot! loved the writing to, it was quite addicting to read

i don't get the hype, this read like a C tier wattpad story. i will continue coz I want the gay ship but eh not as good as I hoped

I don't even want to rate this. everytime I pick up a classic I hope this one will be THE one and then it's not. maybe it's just not for me or maybe I'm too dumb I don't know

the whole book I was so focused on the lesbian stuff that when Part 3 came I was gagged. I did not see any of that and now I wanna reread it to understand the small things I ignored the whole time 😭 I kinda feel dumb coz it really was obvious but again the lesbians got me I'm sorry. also seeing the about the author section got me scared a little, from what I've seen the author seems to criticize Israel so I'm hoping that's true coz oh boy that would make me mad given the context of the book 

so many things happend in this book but also nothing at the same time. I liked the couple alot and I loved the part in India and all the cultural commentary but overall this just felt disjointed 

what a disappointment. this was a 5 star prediction for me ever since it came out and oh my god if it wasn't for the audiobook I would've dnf'ed it like 10 times. such a boring and slow buildup for a the most predictable and not at all unique story

this was soooooooo fun and exactly the type of “unhinged woman” I like. she was kinda real ngl 

that's it? there's no way all these thriller booktubers giving this book 5 stars 😭😭 we really are in a thriller drought if this is considered best of this year so far omg

despite the content matter of this book being literally my niche interest I didn't love it as much as everyone else. beginning and end were great but middle kinda dragged and like the whole time I knew where it was going and what I'm reading so maybe that's why it didn't leave me as impressed.

i've seen the anime years ago and loved it so decided to read the manga coz I forgot the story and also I've always heard the manga was better anyways so we will see
