3.5

okayyyy we're FINALLY getting into it

2.5
lowkey loosing the steam but I still want to know what will happen next so I'll finish the series probably

3.5

the art is sooooo good in this I just need the plot to pick up

lowkey don't wanna trust that girl and i wish I could

that one panel at the end

this was a reread for me and I remember it being a bit better but also I already knew what's abt to happen in this volume so maybe that's why. still good and the art is so beautiful

i feel like I've read a totally different book than everyone else

4.5

were the handwritten letters really necessary holly ?

2.5

this was kinda boring, had some funny moments but nowhere near mickey 7. don't even bother continuing

LOVED the characters and the concept so much but the plot was a little weak and the book itself way too short. I know there's a sequel but I wish this one was like 400pgs at least bc the story picked up again by the end but there was like only 30 pages left

I was really enjoying this book for the most parts unlike many ppl. I do like cults and I did find this story believable but idk the last 30% or so were just like repeating the same thing and I got bored.

i liked this alot, read in one day while in the forest so the vibe was great. I didndt guess anything but also wasn't really trying to either. I really liked all the characters and the way the story unveiled it was very interesting

yes it was predictable from the first page but I enjoyed the journey and it ended my month long slump so yay

2.5

damn was the last 20% awful. such a stupid answer to the mystery and the characters were quite annoying the whole time too

4.5

FINALLY A GOOD THRILLER!!!!!! ate this up I was glued to my ereader. loooved the forensics aspect of it and the whole plot was just so fun and the way the “whodoneit” was revealed was just so gripping to me

damn what a dissapointment this was. i felt like 80% of this book was spent in a bakery and talking about trees being cut. I loved the snow queen as a kid but the way this was used was kinda so confusing and just not interesting, the plot in general was just not great. such a shame coz for a ya book this is a very important topic but I can't help but compare this to grown by Tiffany D. Jackson and that one was just so much better. giving this a very low 3 star bc again it's still an important book and it wasn't badly written or anything, just maybe not for me

it was okay, another gritty south thriller that just wasn't my thing at all. thought it would be a bit different than it was. i do think I will enjoy the movie more bc of the cast and the action scenes just always work better in movie form to me personally

1.5

I guessed the whole plot a couple chapters into the book so yeah

4.5

good for her honestly

I don't think I fully understand all the parts of this book but I did love the work commentary and I will eat it up everytime. the pointless, repetitive and weird jobs and the overall “don't think too much, just do it” energy was very relatable. I think the female character was my fav bc we are one and the same when it comes to our job experiences and the idea of working lol

2.5

the way this cool and scary creepypasta setting was used for the most boring and pointless plot should be studied

took me way too long to finish this for some reason but i liked it alot!! very interesting concept and quite sad in general. it was kinda difficult for me to imagine the gore scenes but they were still gross

2.5

well the art was incredible and disgusting as always but the whole story was just so boring to me, nothing was scary or even interesting. mostly just disgusting but nothing more
