Have not tried but I bet you can get drunk just by reading Fitzgerald and Hemingway back to back.
In all seriousness, I quite liked this one. Hemingway's minimalist prose makes me appreciate the themes and the settings of his books much more.
I would put this one at the same level as The Old Man and the Sea. Both quick and profound, the latter being more melancholic.
