Too corny for me.

Not for me, but I understand why people enjoy it.

Nothing more satisfying than a series nailing the landing.

The way that I woke up Monday morning and went I HAVE TO FINISH THIS BEFORE WEDNESDAY BECAUSE KATABASIS COMES OUT THIS WEEK. Luckily for me, this book was excellent enough for me to be able to fly through it. I was ENTHRALLED, ENRAGED, ENTRANCED, girl.

The way that I was clenched. This series is not good for my blood pressure.

I had no idea this was for the monster fuckers!

So great, definitely one of my faves this year. And HOT.

Delightful little romp! If you like books that feel wet, this is a good one.

This was fun and obviously extremely readable, but I wasn't kicking my feet.

A bit too on the nose for me, which I sometimes enjoy, but it just didn't click with me here.

Emotional turmoil front to back, toe to tip, side to side.

LOOOVED. I went to like every single panel she was on at the Texas Book Festival last year so I was already endeared, but this is a really excellent read.

This was not what I expected/wanted it to be, but was still pretty enjoyable as a fellow lifelong muscle pervert.

Love it when a book wastes no time getting nasty. This book is STINKY /pos

If I ever see that man, it's on sight. Best believe he's catching these hands.

Y'all know how I feel about quips...

I understand why everyone loses their mind after reading this. It's perfect. I need more.

The stress.

It does do that historical fiction thing that I hate where it namedrops people from that time, but other than that, so excellent.

The thing is... is that I wish there were other characters. Iron Flame, but AGAIN.

Beautiful prose, really vibed with the casual climate horror, but just could not get into it.

Incredibly well written, constructed, and communicated.

I liked this, she was fun! I don't know what about it inspired such hate in people, but I'm excited to go back and watch reviews to see. I just thought she was a delightful little romp.

It's almost like rushing to release a sequel within months of the first book's release is a... bad idea..?
