A good story but so disgusting

Great story, but I honestly can't stand Flynn's writing style. The show is better, which I rarely say!

Captivating book. I had already seen the show, but the book was quite different in a few ways. I devoured it. TBH the ending was a little disappointing??? And this dude is really into describing what tits and balls are doing.

Absolutely gorgeous, heartbreaking, and wonderful.

Terrifying and wonderful and heartbreaking. I loved it.

Funny and charming enough. Not everything appealed (why does she think rape jokes are so funny?), but on the whole, a light and enjoyable bus ride read.

I can't do anything but love Ray Bradbury, but this was one of his less inspired works. Also I'm pretty sure that there were a couple of talking penises near the end - that's not a criticism, though.

I thought it was shallow, the sort of thing a teenager might dream up.

Supposed to be a funny memoir, but I didn't laugh once. Some bits were interesting. Probably could have just stuck to the blog, though.

Responded to all my questions and challenged every assumption with aplomb. I came away feeling more educated and empathetic, and grateful for it.

Though I appreciate Moran's attempts to make feminism more accessible, in her efforts to appeal to the masses (and to the menz), she actually undercuts the movement in a lot of ways. I also didn't think she was terribly funny.
