可以一看但我还是比较失望的，主要是比较散。跟标题设定也有关系。内容上一方面来讲并没有对Campbell的hero's journey做出回应/补充，实际上来讲所说的近现代heroine的故事主要是在分析角色而不是历程；另一方面来讲和神话、童话的联系也不够深。我比较喜欢的是关于性侵和沉默的那章，从Philomela到Me Too。但可惜其他章节并没有这个水平，整体太乱了。

This felt too much like a fictionalised version of the events.

篇目之间的差距比较大。我最喜欢的是Io、Echo（本质是Juno）和Eurydice。一部分篇目放到了现代背景，一部分是基于原本的背景但让故事中的女性说话。部分故事内核比较重复，但好的篇目确实写得不错，优美、愤怒，同时里面的女性角色每一个都很鲜活。

The author's clear knowledge and disinterest in discussing from asexual/aromantic persepective is concerning to me.
“aromantic” and “queerplatonic” are both used words, but both MCs refused to think/dicuss any further regarding this topic. This is a bigger issue to me than the ending.
