Why this book?
One of the few horror novels I’ve ever read, and it’s stuck with me all these years. Only reread it once after the first time as a kid, and it all came back in a rush, yet was new all over again.

Of all the books I’ve read, I think I’ve reread this one & its sequels the most. There’s nothing quite like it.
