I watched the movie first, and while I loved that (reason I wanted to read this) it took me FOREVER to get through the audiobook. I just wasn't interested in picking it up

Going in I didn't know what to expect. I joined an adult summer reading challenge and we needed to read a book with a love triangle (not something I typically pick up) but this book is amazing! Gives a perfect insight into what it's like to date a narcissist, what it's like to be in a toxic relationship and why women rarely leave the first time they're abused

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. I've been putting it off for so long & I wish I didn't 😅 I was hooked right away. I even borrowed the audiobook from my library so I could listen while doing chores

I also appreciate that it didn't end on a cliffhanger, so I feel if you don't want to read the whole series, you could end on this one

The first half of this book was a little slow but the last like 20% I was hooked! And things finally got spiiiicy 😉 I was laughing, gasping and saying “no fucking way” I can't wait to see where book 3 takes me

I watched the movie first and LOVED it so was excited to read this. I know movie adaptions are never the same & books are usually better, but in this case — the movie was better 🤷🏻‍♀️
